Hello and good Monday!
Even though today’s run was just a quick mile to warm up for some weight training, I’d like to share some insights or “thoughts from the run”.
Accountable – A word that is losing meaning in today’s society… Being accountable for one’s actions is the corner stone for trust and respect. For example my mother is caretaker to five feral cats, all of whom trust her and allow her to handle and hold them. This wasn’t true at first she had to build trust and this was done by appearing at the same time every day in a nonthreatening manor and feeding them. She was accountable…
I’m using this blog to keep me accountable to my goal of training and completing a half marathon. Using leverage for or against myself by holding myself accountable to document something everyday to this blog. Mastery in any aspect of life starts with showing up everyday and trusting ourselves to work toward a goal to its end and learning something about ourselves along the way…
So what are you going to be “Accountable” for?
